Round 1 Review

 

After intense weeks of preperation it all came down to this, "this" was in the end not very good as none of the Streamline Engineering drivers saw the finish line...

 

Dominic Foster's Race:

Qualified 25th

Finished 22nd - Retired on lap 8

 

James Early's Race:

Qualified 23rd
Finished 18th - Retired on lap 19

Interview:

Dominic how did you think the race went?

"Terrible"

 

What went wrong?

"First of all I could not put a quali lap together, and also the nerves got the better of me and my times were exceptionally slow in the race"

 

What are your views on the formation lap accident?

"I believe that it was a great shame for the season to start off so badly even before the green light"

 

What are your views on the collision?

"I think it is rude of him to name and shame me as there was not much I can do, I want to point out that I started without a front wing which did not help me, it's pretty obvious that I would have avoided that incident if I could"
